Indonesian culture celebrates spiciness, or “pedas”, as more than just a flavour. It represents our bold, adventurous spirit and love for all things exciting and flavourful, in the kitchen and across everyday life. This zine is an extension of Rahel’s cooking practice, which contains six indonesian dishes that have grown with Spoons into becoming one of London’s independent culinary icons today.
