When traveling by car, my eyes are often drawn to the roadkill along the way. I began this work wondering what kept pulling my attention toward them. Along the way, it became a meditation on belonging and displacement.

Part memorial, part roadside elegy, this zine follows a procession of animals whose journey was interrupted by the landscape of speed and human desire. It draws attention to the lives left behind, and asks where we belong in a world always moving forward.
