一對父子的故事。「Senikanji漢字術」是印尼萬隆市一對父子組合的繪畫、插畫創作系列。父親Supomo（蘇波莫，1955-2021)是印尼華人，成長於戰後物資匱乏、華語被壓抑的年代，少時家貧輟學，此後修理汽車機車幾十年。雖然自幼有繪畫天份，但他只當成工餘嗜好。直至近五十歲，受兒子Yulius 勸服退休，專心畫畫，出道由兒子當經紀人銷售與接案子，展開各式各樣的繪畫、插畫創作。

Supomo的「漢字術」以玩味十足的人生哲學、警世格言、謬論妙語，配上他那樸拙而逗趣的插畫，構成充滿活力的畫面；加上他老來才初學的中文，不太通順的句子卻產生更多的喜感，令人愛不釋手。

Supomo 不幸於2021年逝世，本書記錄與回顧父子二人的成長與出道歷程，及父子關係的微妙變化，讓人掩卷難忘。
