Could reading the personality of someone's bag be enough to recommend the perfect book?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe three of us each selected around thirty of these photographs and drew, on the reverse side of each image, the book we most wanted to recommend to its owner. Every image in this series is drawn from an actual book—some are already in my collection, while others remain books I am still searching for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach work begins by mechanically reproducing the face printed on a book cover in graphite. From there, I imagine and draw the unseen side of the face, creating a profile that never existed.
